Children's Mental Health Week

We are delighted to share that the children have had a fantastic time participating in a variety of activities during Children's Mental Health Week! Their enthusiasm and engagement have been truly wonderful to see.

Each morning, uplifting music has welcomed the children as they arrived at school, setting a positive and cheerful tone for the day. Throughout the week, they have taken part in activities such as:

  • Whole school HIIT session lead by Mr Longman
  • Be the Pond - an activity to get children thinking about managing their feelings
  • Make a Mind Jar – a creative crafting activity that can explain emotions
  • Nobody’s Perfect Self-Esteem Actiity – celebrate your uniqueness!
  • Overcoming Worries Worksheet, tackling negative thoughts, positive self-talk shield – write down how you are feeling can help you to maintain good mental health
  • Mindfulness cloud actiity – get children to focus on their breathing
