Year 3 Trip to St Albans Cathedral
For their Spring Term trip, Year 3 visited St Albans Cathedral to build upon their knowledge of life during Roman rule. The children learnt about St Albans and what life was like in this area over 1500 years ago. Year 3 enjoyed acting out the story of Alban and learning about how he risked his life for his beliefs and how he is now remembered in St Albans today. After lunch, the children took part in a mosaic-making class where they used tesserae and grout to create an impressive mosaic masterpiece.
