For their Spring Term trip, Year 4 travelled back in time to experience life in England under Norman rule. Mountfitchet is a Motte-and-bailey castle and village, re-constructed on its original historic site.  The children had the opportunity to explore different buildings, interact with the exhibits, and try their hand at using some of the weapons!
