The children had lots of fun designing and creating their irrigation systems to find out what factors would influence the effectiveness of their design. They gained lots of knowledge about the country of Sudan and its people. They considered the 17 sustainable development goals set up by the UN in an effort to eradicate the problems caused by climate change by the year 2034. At the end of the project, all pupils were able to write up their experiments and arrive at their conclusions based on the scientific knowledge they had gained during the day. Well done everyone!
