Holocaust Memorial Day
As part of our learning around Holocaust Memorial Day, Year 6 were visited by a speaker who shared their family’s story of survival during the Holocaust. The speaker is a relative of a Holocaust survivor, and their first-hand account provided the children with a powerful and personal perspective on this significant historical event.
This visit aligns with Holocaust Memorial Day, observed on 27th January each year. The children were thoughtful and engaged throughout the session, and we are proud of how respectfully they approached this important topic.
