In science, Year 1 learnt about the life cycle of the butterfly and had the opportunity to witness the entire process in the classroom. They observed ten tiny caterpillars undergoing metamorphosis and transforming into beautiful painted ladies. When the time came, they all took a short walk to the park to release them into the wild.
