WORLD BOOK DAY
Today, Years 4, 5 and 6 met with the author Anthony Horowitz in a Q & A session. The children heard about what inspired Anthony to become an author and how he creates ideas from his day-to-day activities. He gave the children some top tips for their own writing and how to avoid writer’s block when writing under timed conditions.
We also had the author Anjili Shah come to school to visit Reception, Years 1, 2 and 3 to talk about her book 'Who am I?' The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to her reading the book which was followed by a Q & A session.
